DESCRIPTION:

Ephedrine is a central nervous system stimulant that is often used to prevent low blood pressure during anesthesia. Ephedrine is an alpha and beta-adrenergic agonist indicated to treat hypotension under anesthesia, allergic conditions, bronchial asthma, and nasal congestion.

INDICATIONS:

Ephedrine is a medication used to manage and treat clinically significant hypotension.
